NOW THERE IS A WAY TO DISCARD THOSE OLD CELL PHONES AND BENEFIT IWF AND THE ENVIRONMENT AT THE SAME TIME.
IWF is collecting used cell phones on an on-going basis for the benefit of Indiana Wildlife. IWF will receive a monetary donation for each phone received.
Your old phones can be recycled and will be sent to areas with economic necessity. Some phones are also refurbished and given to those who are in need of 911, emergency only, communications. "Cell phones contain many toxins and are very hazardous to our environment and they should not end up in landfills."
All cell phones, regardless of age or condition, will be accepted. Please make certain to deactivate your phone as well.
In order for IWF to receive credit for your donated telephone, please download and print this special pre-paid shipping label PDF, attach it to the outside of the envelope, and include the packing list with the phone and drop in the mail.
