Pulliam Trust Funds IWF Habitat Programs
Indiana Wildlife Federation received $75,000 from the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust. The funds will be used to expand the Conservation Education Connection – History and Habitat program to develop Schoolyard Wildlife Habitats in Indianapolis area schools; establish Backyard Wildlife Habitats and Community Wildlife Habitats; and train Habitat Stewards.
“Since the Trust began it’s grantmaking in 1998, it has awarded more than $63 million to 365 Indiana nonprofit organizations. The Trust has continued to further the causes Nina Pulliam supported during her life. As Trustees, we are pleased to continue her legacy of helping people in need, protecting animals and nature, and enriching community life,” said Frank E Russell, Trustee chairman.
Indiana Wildlife Federation is honored to be chosen as a recipient and be considered part of the “Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust Family”.
