Other Ways to Give

There are other options for giving or making your donation stretch further! You can contribute to IWF's conservation work by shopping online through Amazon Smile or by donating much-needed physical goods for our office and for outreach events

The Indiana Wildlife Federation is now participating in AmazonSmile and FundSponge, two tools for giving back to Indiana wildlife and habitats just through normal online shopping.

AmazonSmile is a simple and automatic way for you to support IWF every time you shop, at no cost to you. When you shop at smile.amazon.com, you’ll find the exact same low prices with the added bonus that Amazon will donate a portion (0.5%) of the purchase price to IWF.

To shop at AmazonSmile simply CLICK HERE or go to smile.amazon.com from the web browser on your computer or mobile device. On your first visit to AmazonSmile, you need to select the IWF to receive donations from eligible purchases before you begin shopping. Amazon.com will remember your selection, and then every eligible purchase you make at smile.amazon.com will result in a donation.

Wish List

If you'd prefer to make a donation of goods, we are always in search of the following items for our office and outreach events. We have an Amazon wish list to make purchases for these items easy and quick! Just use this link and search for "Indiana Wildlife Federation."

For events, we need:

  • Bird seed (Wild Birds Unlimited Deluxe Blend mix) - we give this out with birdfeeders at Earth Day Indiana and the Hoosier Outdoor Experience
  • Native wildflower seed
  • Kids' contest prizes - we give a small prize to each student that enters the annual contest
  • Wildlife puppets - we have 2 Folkmani puppets (a bullfrog and groundhog) which are very popular with kids at outreach events. We would love to represent some other native wildlife species!
  • Pelts/furs or skulls - we use these in our Wildlife Education Trunk
  • Wildlife artwork
  • Silent Auction Items – gift certificates, art work, memorabilia or collectibles, tickets to sporting or cultural events, etc.

For administrative work, we need:

  • Post-it notes
  • Gift cards - Lowes, Menards, Home Depot, Staples, etc. - These help us buy materials to build birdfeeders with kids and families.
  • Printing services - to promote conservation and education about wildlife
  • Rolls of Forever stamps
  • Printer/copier paper
  • Wildlife thank-you cards - to show appreciation to our generous donors
  • Subscriptions – Indy Business Journal, IndyStar, iStock or other stock photo site, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.
