We have stopped taking entries for this year's contest, but you may still take the quiz for fun! Thank you to everyone who participated, and be sure to check back this time next year.
IWF is proud to bring the What's in Your Wild Backyard contest to Indiana's youth. The contest will launch at the beginning of the National Wildlife Federation's National Wildlife Week (March 14-20). Entries will close on April 22nd, the 41st anniversary of Earth Day.
We will announce the winners on April 23rd at this year's Earth Day Indiana festival hosted by White River State Park.
Looking for a great outdoor activity? Try some of these ideas:
What's Out There?
Easy bagel birdfeeder
Attract Wildlife to Your Yard
Build a Robin nesting platform
Build a nesting basket
Build a Wren house
This contest was made possible by a generous donation from the Huff Animal Protection Trust.
*All children grades 1-5 who complete the What's In Your Wild Backyard contest, are Indiana residents, and complete the information form at the end of the quiz, will be eligible to win one of our prizes. IWF will select three winners from each grade category. (Three fifth graders will be drawn to win Eye Clops Binoculars; three third or fouth graders will be drawn to win Adventure Paks; and three first or second graders will be drawn to win X-Scopes.) IWF requires participants to provide their contact information. IWF will not misuse, distribute, or sell this information. |
